Arumaikkannu Venkatesan, 38, an employee of Arthesdam Jewellery Pte Ltd which is in the business of selling jewellery and gold, convicted of:

• Abetting in conspiracy with other employees of Arthesdam Jewellery to assist a tourist to obtain Goods and Services Tax (GST) tourist refunds which he was not entitled to, resulting in $995.56 in tax undercharged

Court sentence

• $7,500 in fines
