Singapore and Barbados signed an Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation (DTA) on 15 July 2013.  The signing took place in Singapore between Mr K Shanmugam, the Singapore Minister for Foreign Affairs and Ms Maxine McClean, the Barbados Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

The DTA incorporates the internationally agreed Standard for exchange of information for tax purposes.
