Singapore-Jordan Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation Enters into Force

- The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Singapore and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for the Elimination of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income and the Prevention of Tax Evasion and Avoidance (“DTA”), signed on 14 July 2021, entered into force on 30 December 2021.
- The DTA will benefit businesses in both Singapore and Jordan as well as boost bilateral trade and investment flows between the two countries.
