Singapore-Barbados Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement Comes into Force
25 Apr 2014
Singapore’s agreement with Barbados for the avoidance of double taxation (DTA) entered into force on 25 April 2014.
The DTA will encourage and facilitate cross-border trade and investment between Singapore and Barbados by providing greater clarity on taxing rights and minimising the scope of double taxation between the two nations. It also includes the internationally-agreed Standard for the exchange of information for tax purposes.
