Telegraphic Transfer

Pay your tax via Telegraphic Transfer (TT) if you do not maintain a Singapore bank account.

What you need to do:

  1. Notify your bank that you will bear the Telegraphic Transfer and other agent bank charges.
  2. Include the bank charges as advised by your overseas bank and the intermediary bank in Singapore in your remittance amount. This is to ensure that the amount remitted is sufficient to cover your outstanding tax and any associated bank charges.
  3. Remit your payment in Singapore Dollars. This is to ensure payment amount is not affected by exchange rate difference.
  4. Indicate ONLY one of the following numbers at the reference/ description/ end-to end ID field in your banking portal:
    • Tax Reference Number (Do not mask the Tax Reference Number)   

              OR

    • 14-digit Payment Slip Number   

              OR

    • 13-digit Document Reference Number

  5.  Pay ONLY ONE Tax Reference/ Payment Slip/ Document Reference Number per payment transaction. This is to ensure that the payment is posted in the correct taxpayer account. When you pay for multiple taxpayers in one payment transaction and the payment is posted in the wrong taxpayer account, you remain liable for the outstanding tax in the tax accounts that are not updated.
  6. DO NOT make payment for multiple tax reference/ payment slip numbers in one payment transaction

Payment Processing

Your payment may take up to 1 month for us to receive and credit into your tax account, depending on the currency, country and agent bank used.  

For latest updates on your tax position, please log in to myTax Portal and click on "View Account Summary".

Stamp Duty certificate is available for download after full payment is posted successfully in the tax account. To retrieve it, please refer to How to Retrieve My Stamp Certificate.

Credit Card Payment

We Do Not offer credit card as a payment mode as the transaction cost charged by the credit card service providers is high. We need to keep our cost of collection low to preserve public funds.

You can use your credit card to pay your tax on AXS e-Station or AXS m-Station. Please note that there will be a payment limit of $9,999.99.

You can also check with your credit card issuing bank if they offer any payment scheme to pay income tax via credit card.

MediSave Payment

MediSave payment is to be made to CPFB directly.

Cheque Payment

You should choose digital payment methods like GIRO and PayNow over cheques. This ensures safe and seamless transactions, and helps you avoid incurring additional costs. You can find out more about the available digital payment methods by selecting the relevant tax type.

For payment of income tax by Clubs, Trade Associations, Management Corporations, Town Councils and Trust, please select Corporate Income Tax.
