Lim Bee Eng (“Lim”), 62-year-old sole proprietor of Zen Feng Shui (ZFS) - in the business of geomancy and astrology consultancy services - convicted of:

• Tax evasion, by making false entries in her personal income tax returns for Years of Assessment 2017 and 2018, resulting in $68,949 of income tax undercharged. Lim had deposited her business’ cash sales into her personal bank account instead of the business account. She also did not provide complete income records of ZFS to her accountant for filing of tax returns.

Court sentence

• 12 weeks’ imprisonment
• $206,846 in penalties
